How long does the process take?
In order to get the process started, we simply need the last 12 months of utility bills. Once we have that information, it will take approximately two weeks for our team to analyze your energy usage. We’ll then provide you with a report on what measures you can take, and the incentives available to help you save on your monthly energy costs.
How do I know if I qualify for government incentives and/or grants?
We have access to multiple federal, state and local resources to quickly determine if you qualify for government funding to offset your energy costs. We will be able to explain what incentives are available to you when we present our report based on your 12-month energy usage.
How can you use tax incentives?
Funds that are secured through the federal government’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and USDA Rural Energy for American Program (REAP) may be applied to upgrading your facility or investing in renewable energy resources. These investments may significantly reduce your energy consumption and save on your monthly utility bills.
Does it matter what state I live in to qualify for federal grants?
No. All small rural businesses across the continental U.S. are eligible for federal grants and tax incentive programs independent of what state(s) you are located.
Do I have to switch my utilities?
No. You do not have to switch your utility or energy provider.
Is there any downtime when changing programs?
No. Your energy service will never be interrupted.
Does your program require onsite battery storage?
No. A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is not required to qualify for federal grants or incentives.
Can you install batteries on my property?
Yes. We can help you select a BESS, as well as install and service it to ensure it works at optimum performance.
